Once you imported the demo template, you can start customizing the theme settings as per your preference.
From your admin area, go to Dashboard > Appearance > Customize.
You have full control over existing template like: Header, Footer, Site Identity, Site Layouts, Post Layouts, Pre-loader and many more.
